I am repeatedly impressed by how good other people's maps are... The only thing missing for me is a scale, but otherwise a great map.

And I love the font, what is it?

My apologies for resizing your attachment, but please see the posting guidelines (keep images to 800px width and smaller) and I think it now looks much better on the forum.

Thanks for posting it and a very nice work it is! The only thing I'd suggest to think about is the lake. Is that a large island with the lake or just a contour? If the latter, I'd make it thinner, so it doesn't look like another coastline. It is is an island, it looks rather large taking up almost the whole lake.

Sorry about the size. Ralf- It's supposed to be contours, but I can see how it can look like an island. Thanks for the input.

One other little suggestion:
- You could soften up the forest edges a bit by sprinkling some individual tree symbols along the edges. As they are now the forests look a bit monolithic.

Good suggestions re: trees. I usually don't use the auto-fill feature for foliage for that reason.
