FractalTerrains and automation

Hi,

[p]I own Fractal Terrains and I played for a while with excellent Terraformer "plugin" ! The combination is powerfull and dramatically improve my planets surface realism [/p]

[p]But I'm wondering if a way exists to automate the generation. I mean: I want to produce a hundred worlds at a time, manipulating their climates and properties for each instance. For example, I'm asking myself if it is possible for rendering a ice world to create a batch file (command line) that may look like:[/p]

ft.exe -color=ICE001 -param=xxx -layer0=CLOUD001

[p]Is it possible ?[/p]

[p](the goal is to make both FT and Astrosynthesis to work together to create entire galaxy...)[/p]

It does have some in-program scripting, but, depending on how much altering you want to do to the base world, you probably won't be able to generate an entire world without some manual effort. I like to automate tasks, and am working on building some scripts for my world-processing, but haven't reached the Holy Grail of no manual intervention yet. But I'm no expert yet. Still got a lot to learn.

For now, I just want the maps generated with some color/texture settings, maybe a fixed fractal randomiser, but no more. When it comes to have an interresting planet, then I would surely manually modify it

I have been told that FT's command-line automation follows the rules in the attachment. It's how Astrosynthesis already talks to FT, I understand.
