Mid of 2 points

I was trying to use the MID2 modifier to place a line. The docs say:
Combining Modifiers with Mid of 2 Points

Note that you may modify the requested points. For example, if you wish to choose the midpoint between two circles centers, you may select the CEN modifier and pick a circle for each requested point. CC3 will calculate the midpoint between those centers.
But when I try to click an additional modifier (say endpoint), I get a "Nested modifier ignored" dialog, and sure enough, it ignores my modifier.

Am I doing this wrong or does it not work as advertised?

Thanks,

Morgan

This is indeed a mistake in the documentation. Certain nested modifiers were causing problems in a previous version of CC2/CC3 and were disabled at some point. I do woraround this by drawing a temporary entity between the points in question and using the modifier on that.
