I'm working in a large map and I'm noticing crashes when I zoom or scroll through the map while editing. Essentially, I get a message that the .exe file is not responding. Is this just a glitch in the system or can I avoid this? Thanks.

Do you have effects enabled when you are zooming/scrolling?

If you have effects on, each time you zoom/scroll/refresh the view all of the effects need to be applied again to the map view. This can take a long time on a complex map and/or with a less powerful computer.

While the map view is being redrawn CC3 will not be responding - give it a bit of time to see if it comes back. Also, disable effects before you scroll/zoom/refresh etc.

Hope this is the cause of your "crash"...
