I'm trying to trace a hand-draw map in CC3, which contains an inland sea. Is there a way I can do this besides using the lake command? Any help would be appreciated!
You can use a multipoly. Just draw an additional landmass on top of the first one, where the sea is supposed to be, delete the black outlines of both entities, then use the multipoly tool to combine these two into a multipoly. This will cause the smaller landmass to form a hole in the larger landmass. Then use 'Outline in Black' to draw a new outline.
The other options is to create a second SEA sheet above the LAND sheet (e.g. SEA INLAND). If you make that sheet the active one, you can draw on it with the Sea drawing tools.

And they will show correctly.
