DD3 and DD-Pro

So, I find myself installing CC3 on a new computer and I find myself wondering: Is there any point to installing the DD-Pro Compatability update if I have DD3 installed?

No, if you already have DD3 I don't think you will get anything from adding DD-Pro compatibility.

Okay, another question: The SS1, SS2, and City Designer compatibility updates are telling me that they can't continue without the .NET framework and provide a link to the .NET Framework 2 download page. However, my computer already has .NET Framework 2 on it. Any idea what might be causing this problem and how I might fix it?

you can install multiple .net versions on the same computer. Hmmm... is there a service pack for it ?

I realize that. Is .NET 2 not the correct version for the compatibility add-ons?

I thought it was .net 1.1 SP1 that was required. At least that is the version the v3 addons used to depend on before the .net dependency was removed.
Do you have the latest version of the compatibility updates btw? I know the .net requirement was removed from all the v3 add-ons, but I am unsure about the status of the compatibility updates.

I downloaded new copies before starting, so I'm sure I have the latest. I'll go looking for the 1.1 Framework.
