Source Maps: Cities

I've been weighing up Source Maps: Cities for purchase as an aid for a specific map I have planned.

I'm primarily interested in the Babylon map and specifically the house tools for it. The example image shows a 3D perspective view of the city. Are there 2D overhead building tools for the Babylonian buildings/style depicted?

Actually I'm not sure whether the house style as such is included, but it would be very easy to recreate in City Designer. Do you have CD2 or CD3?

SM: Cities contains a selection of symbols for city maps like Babylon: A ziggurat, hanging gardens, ancient-style walls, tents, perspective style houses. They are also some excellent buildings maps included for Babylon.

I've got CD 3 and the latest annual which I believe (though i've not played with it yet) includes tools for designing houses for CD3.

I've attached two sample house settings that reconstruct the style used in the Babylon map. Unzip these into your CC3\System\Houses folder to see them in the House settings (Babylon House and Babylon Courtyard). Note that they are CD2 Pro styles, so make sure to enable those.

Basically you draw the outer shape of the house with the "Babylon House" setting, and then add inner areas by drawing with the "Babylon Courtyard" setting inside that shape. The zip also includes a sample house. It also shows how you can add a new sheet (BUILDINGS COURTYARDS) to add different sheet effects to the courtyards.

There is an 'Italian Hill Town' on your front homepage in the viewer with the subtext: 3D view from Source Maps: Cities!

Would it be possible to get this excellent map as Cities! purchaser?

I really like the style of it and am far from the skill-level that would be needed to make it myself...
