Edge fill issue for Traveller Type worlds?
Hello all, new user who is finally really diving into Cosmo 3 here. i've read through several of the threads on the forums related to Cosmographer and Cosmographer 3, but i can't really see anything that quite matches up with my issue. I also didnt really see anything that helped me with the built in help menus, so i have turned to the educated ones for guidance :-)
My main issue, as evidenced by the attached file, is that the right side of the map just refuses to fill with symbols. I'm attempting to make a swamp planet for an ongoing sci-fi campaign, and the line of blank background land hexes along the right side of the page is just a bit too awkward for me. I've tried using shapes to try fill it and even tried filling it with the background color and hex grid, but that hasnt worked at all.
Any help that you all could provide would be very much appreciated.

Anyway, this is easy to fix. When placing symbols, right click on the map to get up the symbol settings dialog. Make sure both "Disable Smart Symbols" and "Smart Tracking" is checked. Click ok, and make sure the "Snap" button in the lower left of the CC3 window is activated. Now you can place symbols everywhere. Note that you can now place a symbol on any snap point, so you need to be a bit more careful when placing the symbols to make them align up with the hex grid, but since snap is activated, you don't have to do pixel-positioning, as either the hex will fit perfectly, or it will be half a hex off.
Thank you! That's quite easy now that i know how it works. I very much appreciate the help.
Have fun building your worlds.
