Sanps Don't work with DD3

Ok I can do map CC3 Dungeon and the snaps work but not with DD3. What I'm trying to do is you a hex Grid overlay with proper snaps. I went to the tools, snaps, and grid settings. It says grid class: Rectangular. Yes Grid is selected and snap and cursor snap is too. I cant change it to "1 Meter, Grid, 2 Snap". I can see it and it's selectable but when click ok and go back it still says Rectangular. I don't know if the problem lays here or not. Please Help me.

Ok oops new info I found out that snaps were in deed on but very small so as to appear not working.

How do you increas the size of those white dots?

If you are using hexes, you don't want to use a rectangular grid. Right click on the Grid button and select on the pull down menu under Grid Name a hex grid at the snap distance you want. Also, make sure the Snap button on the bottom is depressed as well to snap to the grids.

What width and hight do I need for the white dots to be flush with the grid. Ok this is about the closest I've gotten to what I want but as you can see the dots don't line up with the grid.

OK I figured it out. When I created a map I was adding the grid with the map when I created. When dealing with hexs I have to create it with out the grid at first then add them later for some odd reason. By the way if it doesn't work right a way give it a moment to refresh. I did this before thinking that it wasn't working so quickly changed to a new map. Thanks by the way for your help.
