ChkData DAV has not pending DRQ MENUDM #fcw32.mnu
I've tried everything I can find on these forums to solve this issue, but I continue to get it when I try to load "Examples/ES-Tutorial03.FCW". I know the easiest fix is to skip it and go to the next example, but I get the issue on other files as well.
I thought it may be caused by the installation order, so I uninstalled everything and deleted the \CC folder and started over. Here is the order of the files that I installed ( I'm on windows XP sp3, btw):
CC3Setup.EXE
CC3UserManualFiles.EXE
CC3Update8.exe
-- Tried to load the file, problem exists, but I trudged ahead anyway
DD3Setup.exe
CD3Setup.exe
CD3MenuFix.exe
CC3ImageMagik.exe
Skirmish_Symbols.exe
CC3Update8.exe
-- Because the instructions indicate to install it after all the addons are applied
-- Problem still exists.
I've attached a .rar file containing screens shots of the errors I received and the contents of the command box at the time. Image Five.png is an image of the error as reported by Visual Studio 2008 if I let it try to debug the error.
Please let me know if I there is any additional data that you need to help me with this issue,
Thanks,
DL

The open macro problem with some maps was discussed in another thread, along with some suggestions on fixing it till the patch. I've had the same problem as you can see if you look at that thread.
I moved on to the DD3 tutorials and everything worked fine.
Have you installed the latest patch (Currently Update 10 - CC3 v 3.42). It fixes some problem with some tutorial maps. Might fix your problem if you haven't installed it yet.
@JimP, I'm sure you have, but it's not a very good advert for the product when the "tutorial" causes a crash is it?
