The map making competition over at Fantasy Map Maker has concluded and the winners have been announced. Check out both the winners and the other awesome maps that were created for the competition.

This contest was a lot of fun. I'm sure it's not pleasant all the time, but having to complete a 'finished' map with a dead line was interesting. I got a whole lot of good tips from the comments on my map as well as the comments on the other maps. Learned a lot from the whole thing.

Now to figure out what to purchase with the winnings

I agree bearclaw, this was indeed fun. Useful too. I have a feeling I'll be posting more of my maps here in the forums to get input. Sometimes after looking at a map for hours you stop seeing it clearly. Having other eyes looking, and offering a fresh perspective, helps.
