Owners of the World War II Interactive Atlas

I’m about to try my hand at creating a WW2 board game. I’ve got all the equipment I need to make it ready, apart from the actual research for the game. I’d need information on army, corps, division placements, terrain, timelines, front lines etc. I’m leaning towards a strategic war game based on the Eastern front but I haven’t ruled out a smaller sized game, something like a D-Day or a Stalingrad. It’ll probably be an army, corps and division in size, not a smaller tactical squad/platoon affair.

Would the World War II Interactive Atlas be a wealth of information for me? Or not something quite suited to my needs. I’ve looked at the product page and it seems to be just what I’m looking for but there aren’t many details about the software. I can’t find anywhere that reviews the Interactive Atlas or people talking about it and giving their opinion which I’d love to hear. Or just give me a little more details of what is on the software.

Any advice would be great,

Cheers.
