Mirrored Copy effects problem

I'm noticing a visual glitch whenever I create mirror copies of symbols. I'm using an adapted spaceship layout template that has blur and glow on the symbol sheet. However, mirror copies of symbols I've placed don't show up with the glow around them, and they have a thick inner border that seems to be almost bleeding through from the hull sheet.

On the attached image you can see the effect: the forward/starboard thruster is a mirror copy, as is the aft/port thruster. The symbol just above the aft/port thruster is also a mirror copy.

The Mirror Copy command puts anything it copies on the current sheet, regardless on what sheet the original entity is. Your copied symbols - which should be on the SYMBOLS sheet - therefore ended up on whatever sheet you had set at that moment.

To correct the current symbols: Use "Move to Sheet" (right-click the Sheets and Effects button) on the symbols and put them on SYMBOLS.

To avoid this in the future: Before using Mirror Copy, make sure your current sheet is SYMBOLS.

    Hope that helps.

Actually, I initially assumed that was the issue - so I made sure to move to sheet after I did the mirror. This did not seem to have an effect. I will test again, though, more deliberately.
