CC3 Manual

In digging deeply into the profantasy board, I see mention of a CC3 manual that was release last year. Directions place you in the registered user area.

I followed the directions, but have only found a training manual for CC2 (it says CC2 clearly throughout all of it really!).

The file's name is CC2Complete.pdf

Where, oh where, is the CC3 manual that was advertised and promised?

I even went to amazon hoping that someone had put together a good how-to manual, but alas, I was not that lucky.

I have searched throughout the interweb, including the campaign cartographer guild web site. There are a number of decent tutorials, but I am an old fashioned girl who like good old books to study as I go to bed each night, for my night stand.

Any help would be appreciated!

The CC3 manual is no longer available as a separate download on the registration page, but part of the latest CC3 Update (Currently Udate 8). If you have already installed Update 8, you should find the manual i the Documentation folder, inside your CC3 directory on your computer ("CC3UserManual.pdf")

So is it on the install disk also?

Nope couldn't find it there, so went over to my Dos partition and found the files.

The install disk doesn't contain the latest updates, so the only way to get it is through the file installed by the Update.

Hopefully ProFantasy will create the CC3 version of the Tome of Ultimate Mapping soon. I too would like a proper book, but I was too late to get the physical copy of the CC2 version so I only have the pdf version. Hoping for a nice CC3 version soon, in Hardcover and full color.

pdf would be nice to, but my Astak 5" EazyPro may not be the ideal reader for such a pdf as the Tome of Ultimate Mapping.

It does work with some smaller maps though.

I have a Kindle DX, it is good for reading the pdf's from CC3, altough the Tome does display with some missing images, i dont know why. Looks fine on desktop

All the other documents from Profantasy products look really good on kindle dx though

lol. I have to agree. I loaded most of my CC documentation on my Kindle DX and most read well (some times a little small).

Well for reading PDFs I guess I will be waiting this summer for the release of the new google tablets. I might have looked into the iPad, but its lack of USB ports bugs the begezus out of me.

I can enlarge some documents i read on my Astak, but it apears that some have static sized fonts. I haven't had that problem with epub format.
