I don't know why there is a gap in the shadow on the right hand side in the roof map - it doesn't show like that in the fcw. Anyone help? Here is the fcw.
Sue, I type in exportsetmpp, and it says it is an invalid command. I have used something like that before with no problems. Are you sure that is the command? @Loopysue
The fireplace is on both floors, with the chimney serving both of them - quite the usual arrangement. But if you don't want it in the kitchen, just remove it from the FCW - your choice.
Normally, the kitchen already has a stove to heat the enclosed space; I believe a fireplace would be more useful for diners. But if you prefer it that way, I have no problem with it.

BTW, I fixed the map border on the roof.
I'm only getting it on renders that need more than one pass. Otherwise it's fine.
You might be experiencing the same thing as Ricko a couple of days ago.
Check your EXPORTSETMPP value. If it's only 4 million type "40000000" (40 million), hit ENTER, and try again.

Oh dear!
I'm sorry, Quenten. I missed the third 'P'. It should be EXPORTSETMPPP.
It appears I'm having trouble counting my Ps these days.
Thanks.
That worked.
Perhaps we should move the fireplace on the first floor to warm the guests instead of the kitchen?

I see your point. Keep the fireplace on floor 2 as it is, and delete the one in the kitchen
