Live Mapping: Handdrawn Fantasy - Bitmap vs Symbol Fills

This week, after we ran into technical problems during this video the first time around, Ralf will be giving it another try: We'll look at the latest free hand-drawn symbols and discuss bitmap versus symbol fills for larger terrain features.
Come along and join in the fun and the chat on Youtube live on the day here:

Or watch it later on the forum here.
This thread isn't monitored during the show, but is the place to ask questions or make comments before or after it.
We look forward to seeing you all again :)

🤞 for this time!
Absolutely, though the missing thumbnail is a touch ominous. It was there when I shared it....
Yeah, I noticed it was missing on YouTube earlier as well. Usually seems to mean it's been removed for some reason - maybe just didn't upload properly?
I've no idea, but I'm sure Ralf will sort it out in the morning.
It is probably just YouTube being YouTube. I've seen this happen a coupl eof times before. The video does have a thumbnail in YT Studio.
30 minutes :)
Wasn't able to get along for it live today, unfortunately. I did notice when I went to view it on YouTube later that it was still showing with no thumbnail, but the video itself was fine (other than the minor technical issue when Ralf accidentally silenced himself!). I was too early for the live chat to have caught up with the video, so didn't see that, although Ralf does mention any especial queries on the video, of course.
Ralf had turned his volume up after previous shows were a bit quiet. Unfortunately that meant that when I sent him the first message on Slack the poppling message alert nearly deafened him because he had routed it through his headset. So he turned the sound down on his headset, which also affected the volume of the mic...
Here are the fills I have made, using the method outlined by Ralf. I have put them in my Mike Schley drawtools.
I wanted to create rocky wastelands for smaller regional maps.
Here is the drawtool page, and the examples.
I have also used a pattern to overlay the underlying fill, to create a further distinctive wasteland fill, for use in much larger maps.
And the symfills I created:
And for fun, an exotic jungle drawing tool.
