CD3 and DD3 interactions

Hi all!

I'm facing a problem that I solved by using a long and hard workaround.

I'm in DD3 mode, I created walls and towers and so. I want now to create a roof (with oriented textures, as in my other question). I switch to CD3, draw a house with the dedicated tool and realise the roof texture is not the good one. I don't really care because I planed to change the texture either. Then I explode my house and replace (edit props) the roof texture.
But doing so, the roof texture is no more aligned with roof (as it was, even with the incorrect texture)!

My questions:
Why CD3 tools do not work as I expect when on a DD3 template?
Why texture behaviours (orientation) disapear when I replace the texture? Orientation feature is attached to texture or to polygon?

My workaround:
I create a new blank CD3 map. I draw my house as above.
I explode the house to place roofs on "ROOFS" sheet and building shape on WALL sheet.
I delete all unecessary layers and sheets*.
I save the map as "Housy".
I open my DD3 floorplan.
I "Draw | Insert File" "Housy" and then paste my house.
I select my roof and I replace (edit props) texture with the one I want.
At last, I got my roof textured as I want (and texture is oriented in the roof slope) and all is done.

*: if I leave all layers and sheets, CC3 crashes when importing the file (Draw | Import File)...

Paul.
