Craters for Mike Schley's maps
I'm using a lot of symbols from the various sets developed by Mike Schley, all viewed diagonally from above for a 3D look.
Are there any craters, preferably in the same gray palette he uses for his mountains, designed with the same viewpoint?
I need a big crater and am having an awful lot of trouble making one that doesn't look downright silly.
Thanks.

Find a decent crater online that you like
Draw - Insert File. Then just start throwing lines and poly's over it until you mimic the look. Then you have your own unique crater.
Just a different suggestion.
Yup, I suppose someone with more skill and patience could indeed do it that way.
I am not quite sure what you actually want. Here is a crater from the Natural subfolder of the symbols.
And there are craters, including volcanic and ones with lakes in the Mike Schley symbol set. I don't have an idea of what you want different from those.
A good option might be the Dark Lands style crater, an Overland produced by Sue Richards. Just like the cliffs, this crater works very well with the Mike Schley style and vice versa.
I made this map some time ago. For illustrative purposes only, I used the Mesas and crater of the style mentioned above.
