New map, for my Atlas entry.
Atlas area Continent Doriant, region Panaur
Been so busy with life, haven't been able to map. Yesterday I knocked off this one.
Also going to let my DM use it for his world.
I call it Stehltuhn, locals call it either Steeltown or Steal town. Depending on their experience there.
North East is an encampment of non-human humanoids. Orcs, kobolds, gnolls etc etc. They have turned their backs on the savagery of their kin. But they have a long road to get accepted to the Town.
The town proper is very compartmentalized with many regions for each culture (I love to use tons of different symbols from different sets cause in my opinion most towns have been around for a long time, and building are built with different styles and materials.) The elves and halflings have carved out a wild area along the shore.
At the South East is an unknown blight that has turned that section of town into an avoided area.
North West is the start of rural farmlands that hug the river all the way for scores of miles.
One interesting fact is all the docks are covered. The rainfall makes this a necessity to protect goods shipped in or out.
I hope you all enjoy this quick map I did. Still have more work to do on my region of the map, to flesh it out more.
Comments
Hahaha sorry if you came in quick, forgot to add the file lmfao.
Not my fault I had one beer last night and it's thrown me off (New Years)
Here is another quick one. Few hours for this. Have to clean up some overspill nodes on the edge of the map from my lazy river poly's.
It is located inland, the Keep across the river serves as a toll to all the craft crossin. Locals are exempt, as are ships that are built in Panaur. The fork of the river has a resident group of Gypsies that have stopped wandering and have taken to selling produce for great profits. They have a diverse set of crops from seeds they have obtained travelling far and wide.
The whole town profits from being a nice central hub. Almost anything produced in Panaur and nearby nations can be found quite easily here. Many traders have built lavish spreads here.
