Donut-shaped buildings?
On another project (I always have at least half a dozen going at once), I am trying to create a circular arena/stadium for a city style that doesn't have an arena symbol. Something like the Roman Colosseum, where the center field is open to the sky.
I can draw a donut-shaped flatroofed building by drawing a circle (or oval) with the width I'd like, but then all the tiles go in the same direction and I can't angle by edge because it's not a polygon. That's fine for a flat roof with the proper fill, but what if I want a ridge in the middle with one side of the roof sloping to the center and the other to the outside, like the Mike Schley theater below? I can draw a circular building by just doing one with lots of sides (the one in the middle has 24 sides), but it's solid in the middle -- and if I were going to do that, I'd be better off just using a circular tower symbol.
Thoughts about drawing a building in CD3 with a hollow center?

I've got one of those. You might have to work a bit with fills and so on.

Oh, fantastic! I will try that.
As soon as I posted it, I had an idea for how to do a semi-circular one using drawing lines to draw an irregular building that was 1/12th of a circle, and then copying 12 in a circular array. But yours will allow me to do an oval-shaped stadium. Thank you!
