Overlays as guides?

Hi All,

Is it possible to import a map from say a PDF adventure so that it can be used as a guide for re-drawing it using CC3?

You can import bmp and png files, put them on their own layer, and use them as a guide.

I just checked in CC3, no pdf import possible in the insert requestor.

That's just what I need Just export the original from PDF to an image format then import as a layer.

Can anyone tell me EXACTLY how this is done in CC3?

Insert needs to be bitmap or png...

Open new map that you are going to use.
Sheets -> ADD -> Call it "INSERT" or something along those lines.
Move this sheet just above the Background sheet
Layer -> change to Game Master
Insert -> insert file -> (name of your file to insert)
First click is bottom left hand corner of map (snap on is usually easier)
Second click is top right hand corner.
