Dual hex grids

I'm thinking of doing a map with two hex grids overlay on each other. One 6 mile hexes and the other 1.2 mile hexes.
I would use to create a detailed gazetteer.

When they released Forgotten Realms grey box it came with a transparent plastic sheet that had that effect used so you could find distances easily.
I think it's a cool effect and could probably be done easily. I'd do it on two different sheets or layers so you could choose which to use. Lining them up would probably drive me crazy though lol.
I’ve done it with two sets of square grids and they line up automatically. I think they’ll line up automatically with hex grids if you get the ratio correct.
