Info, Count All command.

I am working on my City of Lankhmar map. (this project started in 2009)
Looked through the ToUM and found no info on these commands.
So I used the Info count all function and it lists 8348 or so entities.
Does this command break down all the symbols to what they are made from?
Is there a way to count how many symbols you have placed on a map?
Thanks (there were 0 hits on the advanced search)

I've not used the keyboard command myself, but you get a break down of everything if you pick 'Count All' in the Info menu.
Maybe that is what you did anyway, but there should be a list like this one.
I recall a conversation about that but couldn’t find it. I think things like houses may end up counting things like chimneys as well. I wanted to be able to count all of the houses in a town to figure out the population, but I haven’t figured out a way to make sure that each house is only counted once.
If you have put things like chimneys, domes etc onto a separate sheet from the actual building, just hide all but the sheet that the actual building is on, and count that, eg using delete command, getting the number of entities picked from the command line, then press Cancel.
