So the 2012 Annual has the High Space SciFi Tiles Part 2, which has some really cool alien looking tiles, that definitely can pass for some necrotic brain matter for the walls of your battle map. If you have the Humble Bumble, I did a few maps for Pelgrane Press that have been included in that bundle in the More Lurid Lairs folder, where you can see some examples using the fills for the walls of my battlmaps looking a bit like the Illithid ship on BG3 😁
