It possible to change the colour of a bitmap?
Hi all.
Just a quick question. I want to make a road with reddish cobblestones. I picked the cobblestone bitmap for the texture of the road but the paving stones are grey. Is it possible to alter this so the paving stones are reddish/brownish?

As @Ricko Hasche points out, the Colorize effect would more or less work for this and it probably the easiest to use. You can also use the RGB Matrix effect to reduce the amount of blue and green in the area, pushing the tone toward red (but I do admit that the transform can be hard to use). The Adjust Hue/Saturation effect can be used to move the hue over towards the red end of the spectrum (assuming that there's some color variation) while keeping any existing hue variation in the image.
