Change line color without changing fill color?

I have been googling for an answer with no luck, so i thought I would try here. I made a box, I want the fill color to be white and the line color to be black. Is this not possible? I tried change properties, but if I change the color and select a solid line style it changes the fill too even if the fill style box is unchecked.

Do I need to make two boxes, one hollow with a line and one solid without? I am assuming an entity can have a line color AND a fill color, but perhaps I am wrong.

This is one of the areas where CC3+ differs from most other vector apps.

You can have an outline by using the Outline tool on the right. However this only allows a thin outline, so it is probably better to use two separate polygons.

Make sure you put them on different sheets or layers (doesn't matter which as long as something is different between them) to make it easier to pick just the outline, or just the polygon.

It wont be thick, but there is a command line thing you can try.

type: outlineb

select the box by clicking on it.

right click Do It.
