CC4?

Greetings!
I first heard about a possible CC4 being in development I think in a livestream. Since then, nothing and that was over a year ago. Is there any truth to the rumor?
If so, anything to share?
Thanks!

Yes, CC4 is a work in progress. As CC3+ users, we have no definite information beyond that, so far as I'm aware. It will doubtless all be revealed in due course!
There is a forum posting about them hiring people for CC4, so I think they are ramping up. I'm guessing this means they are mostly finished with the base program and now are looking at adding needed art and other content to finish the project up.
We are working hard on it. However, since my part in the whole thing is creating new assets for just a bit of it I can't really throw much light on anything else.
So ....
Where is CC4 at a year later?
Thanks!
In another thread, it was said there is nothing to be shared.
Bummer.
My yearly comment to confirm no more information is out there about CC4. At least, nothing I can find.
Looking forward to CC4 when it releases!
Every few session I sneak in a little poke towards CC4. The only response we ever get from Ralf is a little wry smile.
Besides that he doesn't tip his hand at all. It has been a long time since that post about hiring a social media person.
The graphic artist hiring was early 2023.
I am sure it's a lengthy process to redesign the program. Especially if they are trying to make it run on more modern multi core processors and large amounts of ram. So from that viewpoin, who knows how much code can be re-used. At least they have a huge roadmap of what is needed, and what they have. Plus hopefully they are making it so they can adapt to new gaming trends that may emerge in the next 10 years.
Like when CC2 was out, there were literally no table top systems. Core 2.0 was just starting. That was essentially the birth of digital dungeon master tools. So with hiring Kert I think they are really trying to work on capturing more of the table top mapping market.
If they can pull off fast battle maps with good fog of war....? They could be well positioned to have a big influx of customers.
I'm hoping.
