Hi everyone! :D
This week, Ralf will be creating a map with the Baedecker-inspired 1930s Overland style from the Cartographer's Annual Vol 5. For anyone who prefers the year to the volume number, that's the 2013 Cartographer's Annual.
You can watch it right here.
Or you can come along and join in the chat and ask your own questions over on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFtKTuaxVlk

which map is the one that inspired this live session?
It's a map called The Cloth Salt Colonies that was posted by Mike Degn on the FB Group page. I can't really post a screen shot here without his permission, and I can't seem to get hold of him right now.
thanks! a quick googledidoo showed he also posted this on reddit :)
We also highlighted it in this blog here:
It's the third one down.
It's not actually that recent, but bobbed up to the top of the list again when someone else wanted to know what style it was ;)
Here is a screen shot with permission from Mike Degn:
You always do the live mapping after I already had to figure the style out myself :P
LOL! Sorry Julian!
Maybe there are questions you would like to ask anyway, or perhaps you could be one of the expert panel.
30 minute shout :)
Oops, caught the last few minutes. I was working on my city state map.
