My most ambitious project yet, Mediterranean style seaside cliff city
Ok. I've checked out some real maps of Italian and Spanish cities that are built along the cliffs of the Mediterranean. I want to use these as inspiration for a city in my world, but I don't know where to begin to make the topography look realistic. I struggle with using contour lines in Cities and making it look like the streets climb through up the cliffs. Really needing advice. Please and thank you.

The peninsula between Naples and Salerno, Italy, South side, has a number of small towns like that. No idea what it looks like now as I was last there about 1972.
Yeah, I was thinking something like that or Cinque Terre
How about a Source Maps: Cities style map, like the Panicale example map.
