[WIP] Lighting Strike

Your Limited Warfare post got me thinking and decided that even if I don't post for the contest it would be worth doing as a distraction from my current endless cavern maps.
So I knew what I wanted to do and first decided that I would do two panels. As I started to layout the plan I changed my mind and went for three panels. Based on world events from this summer where I live wildfires burnt over 3 million acres this year in the state I live in.
All three panels are being done in a single .FCW file which makes it more challenging with all the different effects and symbol sheets.
Currently working on the middle panel and once it's done I'll start on the third panel which will be the forest recovering.
Posting early for inputs to how I could do things better.

Looks good! I would say that you're definitely in the top three in that contest!
I thought this was done but I keep going back to it as I was working on other projects. Just looking at it with a sense that something was missing. I think I figured out what was wrong and made a very subtle change that I think completes the project. I posted the updated project in the gallery and because the change is so subtle I was not going to post it here again. I decided to post it anyway to see if other people felt the same way as I did. The change is adding wildlife to the first and third panels just a few but I think it brings the whole project together and for me I no longer have that feeling of it missing something or being incomplete.
