Will you be mapping all the interiors too? That could be a really interesting project.
However, I know castle mapping can be fun, but quite tricky, because of all the different levels inside, and getting the stairs (and sometimes ladders) to work to connect them all. It's almost as if medieval castle designers didn't intend for people in the future to make detailed maps of them 😉
initially the idea of this map is merely descriptive. this castle is present in the sequence of maps I recently posted (https://forum.profantasy.com/discussion/12833/karkaroff-region#latest ) of a story I wrote with seven chapters.
the castle belongs to one of the players - Lord Olaf, but in these first seven chapters the castle may not even appear.
I agree that the project can be quite interesting, but I would have to start from scratch again - since the map of this drawing - as I did in a "descriptive" way - I didn't use scales so I don't have measurements.
next week I'll have my free time hijacked by Mr. @Quenten in the Berenur desert maps section.

That's a shame, if understandable. Maybe something for the future, with a different castle, perhaps?
Would you mind sharing the CC3+ file for this? I'd love to be able to pick this apart.
@Maidhc O Casain
For the future it may be, for now I don't think I'll dedicate myself to it because I'm also writing a lot, and it consumes me more time than drawing maps.
Can we partner up too, I do the exteriors and you do the interiors from somewhere in the atlas?
Unfortunately, I am already heavily committed to mapping my own corner of Alarius for the Atlas still, so taking on another Atlas project just isn't feasible currently, unfortunately.
Hey, Ricko - what style are the Zephyr symbols you used for the corner decorations from? I've been trying to sift through, but so far haven't been able to find them.
please show me wich one exactly, so i can figure. thanks
This one :)
I'm not Ricko, but this is from Annual Renaisance City (by Pär Lindström):
@roflo1 was more fast then me @Maidhc O Casain
Thanks @Ricko Hasche for sharing your castle. I am just designing my first ever castle. Having another to look at will help.
@Bruce Pilcher suggest download the file to open it in your computer. so you can look into the sheets.
