I've imported a flagstone fill texture I'm using to tile the floor of my tavern kitchen.
Unfortunately I see a white gap around the edges of each tile.
Is there a way to remove the gap?
It's a pretty one, but I'm not familiar with it. Where did it come from?
Settings in the fill.
On my cell. I can't remember how it is worded. But the one you have checked gives you that.
There are 3 of them in the bitmap fill selection. They are above the Scale line.
If I remember correctly, it is the bottom one of the 3 you should have checked, but isn't.
Looking at your screenshots, it looks like the white gap is part of the image. CC3+ doesn't add or remove anything from the image (shouldn't anyway, and I've been unable to get it to). So my recommendation is to have a closer look at the source image, seems there is a border on the bottom and right sides.
There is a setting called 'outlined' on the settings for the fill in the fill dialog, you can check that it is disabled, but I don't think that's what you are seeing here.
Thank you Monsen, that was the problem - after removing the white border in Paint there are no gaps.
I found the public domain images earlier this year but can't remember where. I googled "flagstone floor texture" or something along those lines.
Looking this morning I've found a site where free textures are available (have to register for a free account):
Thank you :)
I use Sketchup Pro myself. Strange that this texture was so oddly marred. They are usually a lot better than that.
