What city style set gives the best (and most flexible) city walls/castles?

I'm new to CC3+ thanks to the humble bundle 😀 and I'm a little overawed by the myriad of style options and what can be achieved with each.
If you have any advice as to which style options you prefer for city walls and castles - both at the city view level and in closer - it would be much appreciated, and some examples would be awesome as well.
My own preference would be for something that worked in with Schley-type maps, but anything that has a bit of detail over and above simple shapes is what I'm after.

For me, the best is the Jon Roberts City - I use them in preference to most others.
