[Query] How do FLOORPLANADD and FLOORPLANCOPY commands work?

How do the above commands select the map files to alter/copy to? I want add a link to an outside map on every level of my space station plans but I don't want that outside map to be affected by using these commands. Do I have to use a different sheet/layer for the hotspot than the map keys? (In Traveller starship decks are traditionally numbered from the top down so I used the "Dungeon" level option when generating these plans.)

I am not sure about the exact selection criteria, but using another sheet for the link to the outside map will work (. You can easily see that it isn't included by just having a look at the levels listed in FLOORPLANADD.
