path artifact - how do I remove?

Hello all,
I'm using City Designer to map a small farm. I drew a stream using the drawing tool from CA 169, and it looked fine at first, but evidently I've accidentally turned on some feature that shows the vertices (or something?) associated with a smooth path. Note the white line on/near the stream:
How do I turn this off?

Ctrl-F to toggle frames?
That probably ought to be visible on the GUI somewhere.
That was it. I toggled frames off and it looks like I expect now.
I imagine this has been asked and answered before, so I apologize for cluttering the forum, but I didn't know the terminology well enough to know what to search for. Thanks very much for your help!
Glad I could help. My fingers keep wanting to hit Ctrl-f to find text entities, so I keep having to look this on up for myself.
