Multiple Floors/Layers

I'm sure this has been asked ad nauseum, but is there a way to copy features from one floor to others instead of just redrawing it on a different floor?

Thanks in advance

Yes, you can copy from one sheet to another using Copy to sheet in the right click menu for the Sheets and Effects button.

If you are talking about separate map files, you can copy and paste using CTRL+C and CTRL+V. Watch the command line for prompts to take the next action each time. CC3 will ask for a copy origin and a paste origin. If you want things to be in exactly the same place use the origin coordinates - just type 0,0 and hit enter each time.

You can also use the Copy to Level command (FLOORPLANCOPY). This copies entities in the drawing to the same position in other drawings in the same multi-floor map set created by the last dialog of the New Map Wizard. In Cosmographer maps you can click the following: "Cosmographer menu → Multi-Deck Tools → Copy to Level" but typing the command on the command line will work for any multi-level map. You can add new levels, delete levels and rearrange levels with the Manage Levels command (FLOORPLANADD).

    And a third method.

I make the floor outline, building, dungeon, etc. Put in stairs.

    Save it as floor01

    Save as floor02

    etc.

That way they all line up.
