Strip Map problems (Annual 29)

Anyone had trouble using strip maps?

I notice that if I click on the Erase button, it immediately erases my map.
If I click on the Move, Scale, Rotate button, it selects my whole map to be moved/scaled/rotated.
If I click on the Bring to Front button, it applies this to the whole map.
And so forth.

Can anybody recommend a fix/workaround?

Sounds like you have your selection method messed up. Try typing SELBYD on the CC3 command line (Then hit enter).

You're welcome.

The select method sometimes gets messed up if a macro is aborted midway, since these often change the selection method (And change it back only at the very end of the macro). SELBYD restores the selection method to the default one.

I'll bet I started playing with the latest macro annual, abandoned my macro halfway, and then tried to create a new map.

It could use work, but I'll add text and things to it as it's explored in the campaign.

I wish CD3 could be used to place houses alongside the streets. That would save time drawing all those buildings. I'm sure there's a way to do that, but I haven't figured it out.

i had that selection thing messed up too, and at first i blamed my (good,perfect and abselutely wonderful) computer. at last I looked at the forum and there the answer was(easely found): selbyd!, i don't know how or why it worked, but I'm really appreciate how helpful your pros are towards the newbees(like me)
