What size is Spectrum Rivers supposed to be?

It turns out the default size for wide and normal rivers in spectrum are the same size. The normal is twice the size of the narrow. Not sure if wide is supposed to be double normal or not.

You're right. They are the same width.
But if you change the width in the drawing tool and save it, that will give you two different river widths.
It's more about what you want the drawing tool to do than there being a correct river width for this or that tool. Common sense would suggest that wide is at least a bit wider than normal, certainly.
I adjust the river sizes all the time. But usually there is a default value that the artist thinks it appropriate for the map style. So I just wanted to get an idea of the intended ration/proportions.
Really, there isn't one. A river is as wide as you want it to be :)
