Slowdown on Linux
Hi! Just getting into learning CC3+ after getting it in the Humble Bundle last year. I'm a Linux user, it installs fine under Wine as has been reported, but I'm running into major lagging whenever I try to use any tool in the view pane. It varies from just annoying to borderline unusable to, occasionally, freezing up my entire screen, though it seems to be worst so far with the landmass draw tool. I wouldn't imagine it would be my hardware, since it seems to be more than good enough for casual use according to the requirements, but I'll post the specs just in case I'm missing something.
I've got CC3+ 3.94 installed using Lutris' Wine runner (6.13-3-x86_64), and my distro is Mint 19.3.
~150 gb free disk space (after installation), 8gb ram, Intel HD 530 graphics card, and four Intel i7-6700HQ processors.
Reinstalling on fresh 32-bit prefix and lowering bitmap resolution settings has helped a bit but definitely not solved the problem. Any directions to look in would be appreciated, thanks!

Is this on a new map, or one that has lots of work on it?
New maps-- I've tried on overland and dungeon maps so far, more or less the same on each.
Nothing know that I am aware of. You say it slows down when using the drawing tools such as the landmass tool. Does this happen immediately when using it, or does it start happen when the shape gets complicated?
If it happens almost immediately, it kind of sound like it may be a display driver issue when it tries to update the screen using basic drawing operations.
Immediately, and (mostly) only in the view pane.
And driver issue is definitely a good lead, thanks! I'll look into it once I get on that computer today and see what I can do.
