How do you change the order symbols are drawn?

I know this has been asked before, but I can't find the answer. I was filling in some mountains, and in doing so I went above some I already made. The location is where I want, but the back mountain is on top of a front mountain. I am needing to reverse that.

In the Symbols menu you will find "Sort symbols in map".
Pick that option and select everything (right click, "all"), then press D for do it.
You can also use the "place behind", "place in front" commands.
I did the sort symbols and it work. I am not interested in the place font/behind commands. Where can I find those?
They are on the right hand toolbars, near the top.
If you need symbols to always be on top of others, you can also set up a second sheet (E.g. SYMBOLS TOP) and move/place them there.
I have done as Ralf suggested on several maps, as I wanted a certain look.
