Extracting symbols for a symbol catalog

I'm sorry if this in wrong spot.

Is it possible extract symbols from a symbol catalog, A few years ago I created a few symbol catalogs, I recently had a hard drive crash. I was able to salvage the catalogs but on the original png/jpg files that made up the catalogs.

I'm hoping there is a way to get the files out of the catalog, so I don't have try and search the net for them.

The catalog files themselves doesn't contain the images, they only refer to the images stored on disk. So if all you have are the symbol catalog files (.fsc files) and not the actual image files, then no, there isn't a way to retrieve the image from them, since they never contained the image sin the first place.
