Drawing Tools - Asked to Save

This is NOT the current beta that is out there (so this is update 25). If I right click the drawing tools button then hit Advanced, selecting a tool ALWAYS results in the software asking if I want to save the information in the drawing tools, even if I did not make a change. This is regardless of style or type of map. I am not modifying an existing tool or hitting new, just using Advanced to list out things in a manner I prefer to see. It just makes me paranoid I did something --- or am I doing something and not knowing it?
More of a curiosity (ie, its likely just something in the software).

Yes it does that...
But not in the Beta update, apparently, since I just tried it myself to remember what I normally click and had no prompt at all.
I think I used to click no.
