Cant Open Map

Hi all,

I recently finished a map, but it wont open any more. Every time I try and open it, the program opens then closes again immediately. This does not seem to affect any other maps I have made.

Any ideas on how to get my map to open - there is quite a lot of work in it!

There was an extremely long line on the rivers sheet (extending REALLY far beyond the map). Seems to cause a crash when effects were applied. I forced the map to load without effects, then deleted the line. Seems to work fine now.

Thank you. Why might that line have existed?

Not sure. Some sort of corrupt entity would be my guess. It was a path with 50-ish nodes, so it might be that your map is missing a river now.

OK. Thank you for fixing. If i encounter the same problem again, how do you force a load without effects?

Tools -> Options. Just change the effects on load setting.
