Greets, fellow artists!
Well, I've been working on a city map for Wang Guo, namely Shoudu the Imperial Capital. The city is quite large, so for starters, I focused on the Imperial or Capital District which sits in a manmade lake. This lake, in turn, feeds the Imperial Canal off to the east and beyond.
Still needs work and I have some issues with it but here ya go:

Great to see this style. Great map.
Thanks, Mr. Quenten and everyone.
I still need to put some work in--especially trying to figure out how to label everything.

With big cities, you can only label the most important parts. if you don't have all the individual buildings, eg as in my city of Stromphe (annual 1, issue 9 - Early Modern cities), you can put labels directly on the map. If you have it filled with buildings, as here, then most sites should just be keyed, as in my map of Vertshusen (Jon Roberts Cities). For your city, I would label perhaps the 2 or 3 most important sites directly, and all the others with a key. (The cities mentioned can be found in the Atlas - just use the search menu)
And where is your gondala symbol, sir!
Just ask Venice about tides!
Great idea, thanks!

This is a really nice looking map! Great job on this so far.
Thanks, Tonnichiwa.
Next step is to affix a key per Quenten to it somehow heh
