Objects completely invisible while being moved/rotated
This is a recent phenomenon which has begun happening only within the last few days. The problem is exactly as the title says: when using commands under the "move" menu (move, rotate, scale, etc), the selected object or objects are completely invisible during the operation. This effectively makes these commands impossible to use in many circumstances; i.e. if rotating something, it's impossible to do so if I cannot see the object while it's rotating; can't precisely place a large object when moving it without being able to see it, etc. etc.
This problem persists within multiple map files using different map styles, and it doesn't seem to matter what kind of object I try to move/rotate or how many are selected at once.
If there is some setting I could have changed to cause this behavior, it definitely wasn't done intentionally. Any help here is appreciated!

Try hitting the TAB key while you are moving/rotating/copying the objects. It toggles their visibility on and off.
Oh how I wish I'd thought to try that... XD I didn't even KNOW about the function (that you could hide the objects with tab) until I read your post Loopysue, hahaha. I must have hit tab accidentally to begin with a couple days ago and didn't realize. Well at least it's a simple thing and just an accidental activation of a function, and not a glitch. Thanks!
You're welcome :)
I think I had the same issue way back in the beginning myself. I think a lot of people do.
I wish I had known this too - I have great difficulty with vector symbols, particularly in cities, if I want to move, resize or rotate. I must try this out.
