Update a map/redraw in new styles

I have my world map that I did way back in the day of original CC. How can I redraw it and redo it to update to a newer style while keeping the land mass the same, and map world size?

You can create a new map in the style you prefer and set the size of that map to the same as your old one (in map units). If you can't remember the dimensions you can use the Distance tool from the Info menu to measure its hieght and width.

Then hide everything but the important bits in your old map and use copy and paste to move it across to the new map. When CC3+ asks you for the copy origin type "0,0" and hit enter, and then when you are asked for the paste origin in your new map do exactly the same thing.

The sheets will probably be differently named between the two styles, and the fills will be brought across from your old map into the new one, so you may have to move things from the old sheets onto the new ones and use change properties to swap out the old fills.
