Being more disciplined with the layout this time around; ignoring TRACE isn't going to get you any Nobel prizes, sadly.

Probably not to code, but I am setting up support beams for the corrugated steel boards at 2,5 m. Cutting out the excess bits and keeping the beam "moulds" should speed things up: in a previous attempt I did the beams freehand and it ended up...well..accordingly!
Discipline and method actually seem to work! Who knew...
Redid the lines of the trench.
Not "feeling" the sandbags currentl. I am thinking maybe faking it by adding a colour underneath could get the sense of layering.
Craters possibly can be massproduced with variation added by the contours.
Getting there, I think. There will probably be more patches of grass in the end, seeing as the parapet is in good condition. Rear berm needs some accentuating perhaps?
Next up I think concertina.
Also: probably need to swap sides with the shadow. Afteroon mist just seems very wrong...
