Problem with Layers & lines

Hi, this situation keeps cropping up when I'm trying to draw a rectangle using the draw tool, its set to square/rectangle as can be seen but I get this squiggly mess, which I don't see an option to achieve at all.
I'm quite confused & a tad frustrated by it.

Which drawing tool are you using, and in which style?
Do you have snap on ? Bottom right of CC3+.
Hi, the style i'm using is SS4, all drawing tools, with snap on.
Try turning snap off.

I am unable to replicate the problem myself.
Try reinstalling the most recent CC3+ update from your account page, and if that doesn't work I recommend asking Tech Support for help.
