Ryecroft Town: Errors Galore!

Hey all,
While trying to duplicate this:
In a Ryecroft Style map, I've encountered errors after errors:
1: clicking on All City Drawing Tools button: CC3+ tells me: no tool for * found
2: after a save, and close, the program refused to open
3: after deleting all my work in original .fcw, starting anew, I get this for right clicking on the scale button so I can scale my bitmap:
What I have done:
1: reinstalled Annual 14
2: reinstalled Updater 25
Good news is the drawing tool is fixed.

Every single drawing tool button when right clicked gives the same error:
CMENU Error Loading File!

man, I've spent more time trying to get this style to work than actually drawing my map :S

Ok, this is becoming frustrating. After adding a texture to a simple solid background, I now have the draw tool error again on all buttons even if left clicked. Um, what's going on? heh

From those error messages, it sounds like you're actuially missing important system files. If you look inside the system directory (in your CC3+ data directory), do you have those files in there, or are they actually missing?
I have the draw tools. I don't see SYSTEM/SCALE.mnc anywhere. Is there another folder to check--within SYSTEM I mean

No, scale.mnc should live in the root of the system folder, same with move.mnc. If you don't have those there, then there is an issue with your install, and you'll probably need to repair/reinstall.

Ok, all these .mnc are back
BUT
the problem is that I actually had a great deal of work done on this map then had to delete it. At one point I was trying to change a fill style and suddenly the program started pumping out: No draw tool * in style. That was while using Ryecroft. Currently, I have john roberts city open and everything looks good so far. Going to try for a Ryecroft and see if all is restored.
I take it I don't have to do updater 25 again?

Update, in Ryecroft, all tools and fills are back. However the problem occured when I added texturize to the background fill. After I did that, suddenly the tools and the drawing tools stopped working.
I wonder if I need to escalate this to tech support?

You should probably run update 25 again as well. It is always good practice to run it at the end of any process, because it contains updated files for all add-ons, while the main program installer is only concerned about the base program
