Congratulations to the winners and a great thanks to everyone who participated. Your maps were all great. I know some of you received 0 votes on your maps, and I hope you don't take that as a sign your maps were bad or feel put of from participating in contest. But the truth is that quite few people voted at all (only 37) which means that there were hardly enough votes to go around at all, and taking into the account that the most popular maps did accumulate a bit more than their average share, this is just how the math works out. 8 maps ended up with 0 votes, and a further 7 with only one vote. So please don't think your map was bad, all the maps in the contest were good maps, but some were better than others.
And thanks to all of you for participating all these great maps for the community atlas. There are several new contributors among you, and I hope at least some of you will consider to continue contributing.
1. Autumn Getty - Coils of the Cold Coroner
2. AleD - The Temple of the Burning Ice
3. Loopysue - Kristol Caverns
4. daperdepa - The Fire of Lielt'ma
5. Lillhans - Klodevig's Gauntlet

Well done everyone, and congratulations to Autumn! :D
Wow!
Thanks (especially to @JimP ?)!
And super congrats to everyone who participate (especially to @Autumn Getty)!
I am happy people liked my map and that motivates me a lot! I'm looking forward to do more mapping ?.
You're welcome.
Congratulations everyone! Some very fine efforts here indeed, and worthy winners all in the voted-for categories.
I'm not sure what to say. I honestly didn't expect to win with so many beautiful maps entered. I was really only able to produce this thanks to looking at other threads, watching Monsen's ice caves video, and some really good feedback from Wyvern. Thanks to everyone for your inspiration and encouragement.
I also want to echo what Monsen said about people who didn't get votes. The first time I entered a competition here I didn't get any votes (also a dungeon competition). It definitely doesn't mean that your maps aren't worthwhile; I was quite surprised that some of them didn't get votes.
Great maps everyone. I hope to see more from all of you in the future.
Oh, forgot to thank Jim for donating a prize. What an admirable and generous thing to do!
I forgot to as well, so don't feel bad.
Thank you Jim :D
And congratulations to all the other prize-winners too :D
Great gift Jim. And great maps, with well deserved winners.
Well done to all.
Congratulations to the winners ?
Everyone created awesome maps, and creating a map for the competition was fun. ?
Here, Here. Congratulations everyone. There were certainly no losers here. Every map was sensational.
Congratulations @Autumn Getty! Your map was my favourite, not only for sheer mapping prowess, but also because of brilliant storytelling. :) "Oooh... that had to hurt." is my favourite bit :p
Co-congratulations to all the other winners and the organisers for being so pro at everything :D
Congrats to all the participants! Great maps to those who won this competition. I'm so in awe of some of the creative and excellent maps here. To those who didn't.....don't get discouraged....if you want to see progress.....take a look through some old threads at some of my first maps - ooof! But, today I've been named 2018 Master Mapper and have had various mapping commissions, one of which you may notice here on the PF blog, All the Annuals. It just takes some practice and dedication to the craft, that's all :) Keep at it new mappers....and keep the gorgeous maps coming everyone!!
Excellent, congratulations to all of the participants and of course especially the winners. Wonderful work! We'll be emailing the winners with the prize vouchers shortly.
Congratulations to all the winners.
This competition was a lot of fun. Both in mapping myself and in looking at the maps of thee others.
Wow, thanks @JimP, and thanks to all the community for the appreciation. It's been a rough year for everyone, me included, and having good fun and excitement doing maps has provided me with some much needed relief. All of you really made my day with this.?
Vouchers have now been sent to all winners as PM's in the forum. I think the default setting is to do email notifications of PM's, so you'll probably gotten an email too.
@daperdepa Really loved your map.
Thanks Tex. That's an area where there's cracking ice, and if the villain flees, he falls in. Thought it would be fun to do a twist on the usual encounter.
I wanted to add my thanks also to PF and JimP for providing the prizes here.
I also wanted to add that though it was my good fortune to be awarded the 500th Atlas map thanks to the random draw, the Atlas wouldn't have reached this milestone without the input from large numbers of other people, many of whom have contributed far more to the Atlas project overall than myself (with a special mention for Remy Monsen as not simply being a mapping contributor, but for the huge amount of work he's put in to setting up and maintaining the entire Atlas website as well). It really is and has been a Community enterprise throughout. I hope those here new to the Atlas, as well as those who've already submitted any maps to it, will feel inspired to keep on contributing towards the next 500 maps and beyond!
Wow! Beautiful job. Congratulations to the winners and everyone who offered such incredible maps. It was nice seeing how they progressed and changed until the final results. I've learned a lot by seeing all the different styles. Thanks for hosting this fun contest.
So, got the rest of the winners up in the atlas. The 500th map with the rest of Wyvern's map were added earlier, and I'll get to the rest of the maps from the competition another day.
Thanks for your contributions.
Thank you, Remy :)
I am a design game creator. A friend of mine told me about this game and I have to tell you...those maps are really pro. Well done. Congrats
Thanks for all your work, Remy. I really appreciate all the effort you put into the atlas :).
